3D Genetics was founded in 1997 with the acquisition of some of the first Fullblood Wagyu cattle imported into Australia.
Since then, it has grown into one of the country’s most respected and data-driven Wagyu breeding programs. 3D Genetics operates from two properties, “Pukawidgi” and “Harwood” which are located 40km north of Inverell in Northern NSW Australia. The business runs a large-scale nucleus herd comprising over 2,000 breeders, including 600 Angus recipient cows used for embryo transfer.
This nucleus serves as the genetic foundation for supply Fullblood Wagyu bulls into structured, commercial progeny test believed to be the largest of its kind in Australia.
